Mark Cesarik recently released his first fabric line, Calypso Swing earlier this year.

Purples, pinks and fuschias mixed with black and white in bold geometric designs. Isn’t it yummy!!

Mark’s giving away four fat quarters to one of my lucky blog readers. There are two ways you can enter this give-away, you can do both or just one. Leave a separate comment for each option.

  1. Have a look at the full line of Calypso Swing and let me know in the comments below which is your favourite print and what you would do with the fabrics if you win.
  2. If you have a Google account, head over to Mark’s blog and become a follower, then leave a comment below telling me that you did so.

For me, I’d pick MC09Purple and would love to make a new purse for Spring with it.

Facebook friends, please enter on the actual blog post to be considered. Winner will be randomly chosen next Monday.

MC01 pink is my favorite, it was a very tough decision though. That whole line would make a fabulous quilt!

OH MY GOSH! I am in LOVE! This is THE perfect fabric line! I LOVE purple and in my machine embroidery designs I purchase I’m drawn to those with swirls. This fabric combines both of those into yummy fabric and an entire line of it. I am posting this and then will be sending my husband an email alerting him that I WILL be buying as much of this as I can possibly find when released. (A loan may be necessary) LOL

Picking just one of these is very difficult:
I love MC01 White because of the swirls and splashes of color and can totally see that being a gorgeous shower curtain in our bathroom.

BUT, my favorite of all (at this very second which is subject to change as the clock ticks by HA) would be MC10 Purple. Beautiful. I think that would be a super cute purse.

Of course, the quilts, table runners, kitchen aprons, oven mitts etc made from all these fabrics could possibly overrun my house. I have a friend who loves purple as much as I do and she would be thrilled to receive anything made with these fabrics as well.

Picking just one of these is very difficult:
    I love MC03 Pink or MC03 Wine

BUT, my favorite of all (at this very second which is subject to change as the clock ticks by HA) would be MC09 Purple. Beautiful.

Not sure whether it would end up a small quilt or a messenger bag, but love it!

It is all so lovely it is hard to decide which I want most. I think I could do the most with MC10 Purple. It could be used as the center for medallions, or in stack and whack blocks, and so many other applications. I want to get out my sketch pad and start designing something to use these fabrics!

I completely forgot to add what I would do with it. I would probably make a hippie peasant skirt with some. I also like the idea of a funky quilt back with it.

My favorite is the MC10Purple. I picked that one without a second thought. It was hard to pick a second favorite from the rest of them. I think I would make a sofa throw for snuggling under while watching late night tv.

I love the MC07 in pink. I think it has some great motion for a quilt.

What would I make from it? My sister is currently having chemo for breast cancer and would love to make her a lap quilt in pink to take for her treatments to help keep her spirits up.
