Mark Cesarik recently released his first fabric line, Calypso Swing earlier this year.

Purples, pinks and fuschias mixed with black and white in bold geometric designs. Isn’t it yummy!!

Mark’s giving away four fat quarters to one of my lucky blog readers. There are two ways you can enter this give-away, you can do both or just one. Leave a separate comment for each option.

  1. Have a look at the full line of Calypso Swing and let me know in the comments below which is your favourite print and what you would do with the fabrics if you win.
  2. If you have a Google account, head over to Mark’s blog and become a follower, then leave a comment below telling me that you did so.

For me, I’d pick MC09Purple and would love to make a new purse for Spring with it.

Facebook friends, please enter on the actual blog post to be considered. Winner will be randomly chosen next Monday.

MC07 Grey is my favorite – it is hard to find nice gray fabrics and I think I am drawn to this one because I am working on some masculine quilts right now. The whole line is gorgeous though – and just the colors that my sister loves – so they would probably go into a project for her.

I would choose the MC10Pink. I love the fabric & believe I would use it in a “Trip Around the World” quilt! I also think it would make a beautiful tote bag!

Gorgeous line. Very feminine altogether. My favorite is MC10Fuchsia. I’d make a quilt for one of my girls with this line.

Oh my gosh!! I love them all, purple is my favorite color, with pink in second. And to have both with fuschia and black and white, Oh WOW!! I might have to get the whole collection!! But if I won the four fat quarters, I would make a purse with them to showcase how beautiful they are!!!!

I really like MC01White. It really opens itself up to generating bright colors to swirl around it and through it. Holy Moley–you mean we are supposed to have an idea how we are going to use fabric BEFORE we buy it! My brain must work in reverse. I say, if you see it and love it then it needs to go home with you. It can tell me what it wants to be after I have it snuggled in amongst my stash.

MC09 Pink… so pretty. and I’m looking for something, ok don’t flip out, to use as the insides to a three paneled screen. My living room is white with a focus wall painted a pale gray and my furniture is black leather. The pink would make the whole room more feminine… don’t you think?

Thank you for introducing me to this line – I may be in love!

I’ll have to start with MC06 Purple because I’m a great fan of companions – but I also NEED MC01 White to use on the back of a quilt for quilting inspiration!

My favorites are MC04 wine and MC10 fuschia. They are so bright and cheerful, and because they are bilaterally symmetrical I would use them in a kaleidoscope quilt. I would probably have to have more than a fat quarter though – they are all so delicious!
    Thanks for the fun give-away!

MC10 purple – Ivy (granddaughter) and I are assembling purple elements for a quilt she wants. Intriguing purples with a dramatic element are hard to find, but this is wonderful.

Definately, it’s pink and has beautiful lines of circles …my two fav things. I would use this fabric to make pillow cases for the “breast friends” house for those in treatments.

MC10Purple is my favorite. I’d use it in a wallhanging for a dear friend whose husband just made her a murphy bed in her sewing/spare room and she needs a quilt behind the bed – the quilt would be a surprise when someone opens the murphy bed.
