A4AQAL: Photos & Prizes – Lesson 4

The Aiming for Accuracy quilt-along (QAL) was held in the Summer/early Fall of 2013. The lessons, blocks and detailed photo tutorials have been removed from this site and are now available for sale as a complete booklet.

Find out more about it here: Aiming for Accuracy Booklet.

Hi everyone! Below are the prizes for Lesson 4 of our quilt-along. The link to submit your Lesson 4 photo(s) is below as well as the photos that have been submitted. Continue to visit this page to see the new submissions.

Lesson 4: Prizes

We have six prizes to give-away for Lesson 4 of our quilt-along. Please show your thanks and support the sponsors by visiting their sites to learn more about them.

Tonya May has donated a set of her super cute Plush Letters. These are perfect for little hands. Each letter is 5″ square. What a great way to learn your ABC’s.

Our friends at Incomparable Buttons have donated five bundles of their adorable buttons. Each bundle will include the bird buttons below plus three other sets to be chosen randomly. One bundle will be awarded for this lesson.

Incomparable Buttons

Rumi from 3patchcrafts has donated two $10 gift certificates that can be used towards purchasing her paper pieced PDF patterns. Both gift certificates will be awarded for this lesson.

Our friends at Simplicity have donated four of their Easy Square Junior Ruler. This is one of my favourite tools for squaring up half-square triangle units. I love the easy-to-read lines on this ruler and use if quite often when cutting scrappy patches too. Two of these rulers will be awarded for this lesson.

Submit your Photo(s)

To be eligible to win one of the prizes shown above for Lesson 4, you must submit your photo to this site using the link below. Be sure to read the instructions on the following pages.

If you are making more than one version of the quilt, you can submit one photo in each different colourway, for additional entries. For example, if you are making the quilt in three different fabric sets, you can enter three times by submitting three different photos. Don’t submit one photo with more than one colourway or you’ll only be entered once.

Photos for this lesson are due Friday, July 26th, 2013 at midnight (EDT). Amy Gay, our volunteer prize coordinator, will be notifying the winners. You can continue to share your photos after this date if you like.

Lesson 4 is Unit C5 and includes the top and bottom sashing strips. The photo you submit should be the complete lesson.
