Okay, I think this gets harder to pick only one each week. This set of quilts is so diverse. Even if a quilt doesn’t win, the makers should all be proud of their work.
There are some very detailed quilts here, but I think my favorite by far is the dragonfly…awesome! If I would have been allowed more than one vote, it would have went like this…
mom’s backyard
lazy afternoon
butterfly quilt
grandpa’s hollyhocks
british birdfair
Incredible work!!
Holy cow, that was a hard decision! There are several that deserve top honors!!!! they are all beautiful and I love reading the stories that go with ’em!! Thank you ALL for submitting such inspirational works of art!!!!
Thanks to all the fantastic quilters who participated. All these quilts are winners!
Wow! I had a really hard time voting for just one. I agree with everything that’s been said. I love birds and dragonflies and the details and workmanship in the bugs was fantastic. Kudos to all the quilters.
That was a tough vote – reeeally wanted to vote for 3 of them!
To me, ‘The Caterpillar’ is the best one, it holds the most colour, is full of cheerfullness. And its design holds the eye, guiding it along the image. Im not a fan of flys, dragon flys are dirty and spread disease and ducks live in their own muck. But a caterpillar turns in to abeautifull butterfly- i love that quilt.
i love katie’s butterfly quilt! the butterflies are so colorful and each one so unique. it matches everything no matter where you put it:) also a great cause. beautiful quilt katie!
It will not let me vote???
