Today, the block I designed for the Christmas in July Block-A-Thon, hosted by Free Spirit Fabrics, is now available. It’s a simple 6″ block that I called Bull’s Eye.
I’ve started working on my next scrappy quilt, The Ultimate Scrappy Quilt. Each block has 19 pieces and finishes at 7″ square.

Mom, I’m ready for my first quilting lesson.
Last Tuesday, the mailman brought many goodies… it felt like Christmas morning! LOL
I’m thrilled to be participating in Pat Sloan’s Focus on the Center Book Tour. See a couple of the medallion-style quilts from the book and my fabric choices to make two of them. Plus I have two copies of the book to give-away too!
Today is my special day for Jennifer’s Garden Party Blog Hop. I’ve created a paper pieced Patio Umbrella block for the party … it’s a free download.
OLFA sent me their latest 5″ Precision Appliqué Scissors to try out and share with my readers. They are also giving away a pair to one of you too.
Sewing, preparing backings, bindings and basting four large quilts.
