#5 Summer Winds
Below are my two versions of this block, Summer Winds. This is an intermediate block. If you’re making the smaller 6″ finished version, I strongly recommend taking the time to square up your four patch units before assembling into rows. You’ll be glad you did! For this block, my batik version is the 6″ square.
Below are some layout options. I love the non-sashed and on point layouts. They are both so dramatic and would look great scrappy. Which layout is your favourite?
