Adapted from a Tessellation quilt of the same name designed by Maureen James. Not enough fabric in my stash so it could not go on forever, instead it became my Meteor center.
The central star became my quilting template. The border I designed to reflect the impact should it ever strike our planet.

I used a pattern called Whisper from the book Transparency Quilts. I hand dyed all the solid fabrics for a soft look. I free motion quilted with swirls in the circles and a simple meander in the background to keep with the modern feel.

    I love chocolate pie with a walnut crust and bananas on it. Also, has to have homemade whipped cream. YUM!
