The brown squares all have three dimensional ‘lips’ of fabric on them to add yet another element. This runner was fun to make and challenging to get the piecing accurate. African safari By: Debbie Lange Quilting, Indiana, USA This quilt evolved. I started with Four Patch Posie center blocks and thought the result was uninteresting so I sashed them with bright solid colors. Then I added Flying Geese to the sides turning them into Star blocks. Duck a L’orange By: Karen H, Ontario, Canada The goose/duck fabric, blue rays & a rust fabric were part of a challenge. I added four more fabrics. The geese/ducks were my inspiration for the circle of flying geese which I drafted. The quilt is embroidered, beaded & shaded with watercolour paints. The bottom edge is a hand beaded fringe. Flight of the Seagulls By: Carolyn Braun, New Jersey, USA There are 6 sizes of geese in the quilt. Some are paper pieced, some are pieced using the quick geese method, and the few lonely ones are pieced with scrap triangles. I quilted the quilt with a wave pattern. Flying By the Seat of My Pants By: Sandi, Wisconsin, USA I made this quilt a couple of years ago for a swap called Modify Tradition. I used a one-seam flying geese technique that resulted in three-dimensional folds. I would Jamboree Flannel Brights Multi Drawn Dots. I am making my daughter a quilt of primary solid squares – this would be a fun back.

I would use it on batiks. You just can’t have too many of those unique fabrics.
If I won the Fat Quarter Shop gift certificate, I would most likely buy something from the A Merry Little Christmas line from Riley Blake in the Christmas Cloth Store. It would be so hard to chose, though!

Just love fabric and love color, would have a time deciding however the peacocks in blue might just do it

I would buy the Flip the Pig fat quarter bundle because it is cute and would make a very sweet child’s quilt. Very hard to choose just one bundle.
I really need to buy something to pull together a sampler done in a swap that is made of 30’s fabrics. I need sashes and borders!
I like to add solids with my prints so I would purchase solids, maybe Konas.
I would stock up on Simple Marks by Malka Dubrawsky for Moda Fabrics.
