Easter Bunnies By: LeAnne L,

When I found these Morehead bunnies embroideries, I knew I had to have them. I used some of them to make a small wall hanging for Easter/spring. They make me smile. Not quite finished, but it won’t take long to get the binding stitched down.
Quilt size: width: 28" height: 32"

Easter Doll Quilt By: Quilting Babcia,
Oregon, USA
Made with leftover triangles. The HST’s finishing at one inch were then stitched into pinwheel blocks. There were enough for 18 little blocks that I decided to arrange into a little strippy style quilt. Bright yellow sashing and brown binding pretty much scream chocolate covered peeps!
Quilt size: width: 11" height: 15.5"

Easter Egg Tree By: Sandi,
Minnesota, USA
When I moved a few years ago, my quilting friends gave me a bundle of fabrics. I used them for this little quilt and then embroidered the felt eggs and egg tree for a special memory of my friends from the Prior Lake Quilt Group! The bunny is a reminder of all the bunnies that dined in my garden. :-)
Quilt size: width: 19″" height: 27″"

In Bloom By: Lia*s Handmades,

I made this little wall-hanging for the final Project Quilting Challenge, called “Hurray for Spring”. It was the first time I did free-motion-quilting with my machine on anything other then a test swatch. The daffodils were created using the japanese Kanzashi technique and yo-yo’s.
Quilt size: width: 13" height: 17"

peep, peep, peep By: Glenda Penner,

Original design. Applique is such a freeing media and simplified shapes and silhouettes are wonderfully recognizable. These tiny chicks freshly hatched remind me of new life, which is such a part of what we celebrate at Easter.
Quilt size: width: 12" height: 6"

Some lovely quilts and hangings for Easter.
Happy Easter.

This year we will get together with some family and have dinner and an Easter Egg hunt for the little ones.
Beautiful quilts for Easter.
Lovely Easter Quilts . Happy Easter :-)
We celebrate Easter with a family get-together and an afternoon meal at my mother-in-law’s home.
Family, friends & blessings abound. Happy Easter everyone!
Our favorite easter traditions is hunting for several pounds of jelly beans hidden one in every corner of the house and afterwards having family and friends over for easter dinner. :)
I celebrate Easter by participating in 1: A living Stations of the Cross on Friday, 2.: Singing in our church choir on Easter morning 3: Sharing a joyous meal with our church family after the morning service. 4: Calling my family to tell them that I love them
We have allways had Easter breakfast and baskets at our house on Easter morning. Then we have allways gone to my Moms and everyone brings different dishes and we have a huge family meal. My parents all 4 of us kids and of course all teh grandkids and great grands too. But this year we are dfoing soemthing different. We are goign on a cruise. Just my husband and the kids & I. We are not gonna do Easter baskets this year. The kids are older. Ours are 19 and 13. And we haven’t had a vacation in the past 2 years which have been very hard on all of us. Moveing across state to be closer to family. Being robbed 2 times. Hubby switching jobs. Where he is no longer on call 24hours a day 7 days a week year after year. We are gonna have a real vacation and relaxation and quality family time.
This year we are having my mom over for a quiet dinner then doing some yard work.
Love the Easter quilts! So inspiring!
Once again these quilts are beautiful! We celebrate Easter by going to church to worship the One who is alive and gives us a reason to celebrate! Then, we have a wonderful Spring meal with family and friends. Also, it never hurts to have a fun egg hunt along the way.
We celebrate Easter with a nice meal and a full contact Easter golf ball hunt. Our children are all grown and we don’t have any grandkids yet so we have a hunt for golf balls each year. Each golf ball is numbered and that corresponds with an envelope with money or a gag gift. The girls usually gang up on the boys and try to take away there golf balls. It is usually quite a show. My hubby drives around on the 4 wheeler to supervise. The kids will sometime make up costumes to wear. Everyone looks forward to it!
All the quilts were great. Good job everyone.
It was so hard to just choose two. I wanted to vote on at least 5 of them! We will celebrate Easter at church, then have a quiet day.
We celebrate Easter by starting our day with church. Then we have a nice brunch with family. When the girls were little they would hunt for baskets. Later we have dinner with extended family. Thanks!
We celebrate Easter beginning with the Palm Sunday church service, a Tuesday evening Taize prayer service, Maundy Thursday service with Communion, a community-wide Good Friday service, an Easter Vigial service on Saturday and of course the Easter Sunday church service. After church we enjoy a nice meal with friends and/or family.
Very pretty quilts–nice job! Happy Easter to all!
this year it will be dinner at the home of my 92 year old mother-in-law….lots of fun & family!!
We spend the day at home. Sometimes, we will go to Easter brunch, sometimes I will cook.
We celebrate Easter by celebrating Jesus at our Church ,what He did for us and the Resurrection. then Dinner with family members.
always like a chocolate bunny and Easter egg hunt for children, think of the eggs as representing “new Life’.
My family goes to church and then to my house for Easter dinner. Doing anything with the family is special!
Time with family and thanking the Lord for His blessings in our life! Happy Easter to all!
We celebrate Easter in a big way. I am never home for Christmas so I make up for it with this celebration. My house is decorate for easter with quilts, table runners and wall hangings as well as lots of crafted items. I have a jelly bean wreath on the front door. The eggs are going to be hardboiled for colouring. Hot cross buns will get baked today. We have ham for Good Friday and Turkey on Easter Sunday. And, the most fun, there is a huge egg hunt enjoyed by all my grandchildren and any small visitors. Good friends are invited for dinner to join in the celebration of this time of year. The weather will be warm this weekend so my houseful of grandchildren and kids can all be outside running around, helping Poppa with some gardening chores and generally having a great time.
THE QUILTS ARE LOVELY SO HARD TO CHOOSE JUST TWO BUT I DID.
EASTER IS A GRAND HOLIDAY AT OUR HOUSE SINCE MY CHILDREN WERE YOUNG. WE HAVE HAD OUR DAYS FULL BEGINNING WITH THE HOLY THURSDAY TRIDIUM AND CONTINUING WITH GOOD FRIDAY, WHERE MY GRANDCHILDREN GO ON A YEARLY PILGRIMAGE WALK AND THEN WE WAIT AT THE EASTER VIGIL FOR RESURRECTION. THIS YEAR WE ARE ESPECIALLY HAPPY AS ONE OF MY GREAT GRANDDAUGHTERS WILL BE BAPTIZED. WE WILL THEN HAVE MY HUBBIES FAVORITE MEAL (YEARLY TRADITION) OF FRIED CHICKEN, POTATOE SALAD, DESERTS AND OLD TIME FAMILY TRADITIONAL EASTER DISHES AND OF COURSE WE HAVE AN EASTER EGG HUNT. THIS YEAR IT WILL ONLY CONSIST OF 5 LITTLE ONES BUT HAVE TO HUNT THOSE EGGS NONE THE LESS. I MADE THEM THEIR QUILTED EASTER BASKETS, AND PLACED PEEPS DIPPED IN CHOCOLATE ON TOP OF EDIBLE GRASS. I JUST LOVE EASTER!!!!
Happy Easter!
Sorry, i was supposed to say how we celebrate easter…To me, this easter weekend is a time to appreciate the coming of spring and spending extra time appreciating my family.

My cousin & I had birthdays yesterday & today when we where little we always had a joint party and will tonight little does he know what I have planned! Happy Easter!
It is so nice to see how everyone designs quilts for this special day of Easter.
We celebrate with Family! Grandchildren make the festive time!
all the quilts are lovely. I’d have a hard time as a judge.
Going to lay a new laminate floor in the dining room before we cook and eat a big easter dinner. Should be a good weekend.
Happy Easter to you…we celebrate by having family for sunday dinner…and always a few treats to be shared..
We always celebrate Easter with family…lots of good food and the Egg hunt. Loved the quilts :)
We usually go to church then have an Easter egg hunt for the littles- indoors if the weather doesn’t cooperate (which, more often than not, it doesn’t!) Then we have an Easter feast!
Flying kites has always been our Easter afternoon tradition, after the outdoor egg hunt.
We will be at church, then deliver the rose from the communion table to my son’s home – celebrating my newest granddaughter, Lily, born on Monday.
The little kiddies are gone, but my DH loves his Cadbury eggs, so he always gets a visit from the Easter bunny…..later we enjoy the traditional ham for dinner and ask for His Blessings…..
We begin our Easter observance at the Easter Vigil Mass on Holy Saturday. We relax most of the day on Easter Sunday, then going to our son’s home for dinner.
We celebrate Easter with a family dinner. And, of course, there is chocolate! Happy Easter!
I’ll be celebrating with close friend over a yummy lamb dinner.
Beautiful Easter quilts…hard to know who to vote for. Happy Easter

Family, food, and egg hunting ;)
We celebrate Easter by Church first, and Family all comes for Dinner…
We are always with some part of the family. This year we are with my mom and my other 4 siblings. We will be helping with the church’s Easter morning breakfast after sunrise service. Happy Easter!
Life is full to the brim with things to celebrate, large and small, on our own or with family and friends. Celebrating teaches us to be thankful and not just thankful in general, but thankful to Someone. The One who created us, knows us and loves us with such a love. He would give anything to have us love Him too… and that is the heart of Easter. A celebration of God’s love. He died so that we could live.
