Bargello headboard By: Rona Keith, New Zealand I was trying out a technique I saw on ‘Simply Quilts’, a quilt-as-you-go method of making bargello quilts. It turned out to be the perfect size for a king single headboard. I added the brown border (with ties) and stretched it over 80mm thick foam and put a curtain rod on the wall. Very comfy! There were a number of mistakes in the pattern that had to be corrected to get it all to come together. All fabrics are hand dyed by me except the black used for an accent. Blue Danube By: Eli, Arizona, USA This was my first attempt at a bargello quilt, and it sat a long time in my box as a UFO. I finally finished it in 2007 and it winged off to it’s new home! From San Fran to LA By: Dolores Sedore, Ontario, Canada My daughter’s boyfriend entered the AIDS Lifecycle 5 which is a 7-day bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles.
