Bargello Baby Bunny Blankie By: Rosemary, Virginia, USA
There is a new baby in the extended family so I made her a quilt to recognize her entry into the world. The solid colors are slightly different tones of the colors of the bunny focus fabric. This is not an Easter fabric, just a very cute rabbit motif.

Bargello Beauty By: nhsarab, New Hampshire, USA
Made this quilt in a class and I thought I would not finish it. There were so many steps to making it that I got frustrated. But, I kept on working on it because it was looking beautiful and I knew it would be worth it. I’m really glad I finished it. I love it!

Bargello headboard By: Rona Keith, New Zealand
I was trying out a technique I saw on ‘Simply Quilts’, a quilt-as-you-go method of making bargello quilts. It turned out to be the perfect size for a king single headboard. I added the brown border (with ties) and stretched it over 80mm thick foam and put a curtain rod on the wall. Very comfy!

Bargello Trip Around the World By: Quiltsbybarb, Wisconsin, USA
This was a pattern I found on the internet. There were a number of mistakes in the pattern that had to be corrected to get it all to come together. All fabrics are hand dyed by me except the black used for an accent. I added the pieced border to give the quilt a little more interest.

Blue BargelloBowl By: Nancy Badertscher, Georgia, USA
I made this quilt with the Bonnie Hunter Quiltville group during Super Bowl weekend ’08. Bonnie’s pattern calls for it to be more scrappy, but this was about the best I could do to be scrappy at that time! I used a long-arm for the quilting – one of my first attempts at that.

Blue Danube By: Eli, Arizona, USA
This was my first attempt at a bargello quilt, and it sat a long time in my box as a UFO. I finally finished it in 2007 and it winged off to it’s new home!
I loved how the blues & whites looked like wave peaks on water, so that is how it got its name: Blue Danube. (That and I’m a musician too)

Hyde Park Bargello By: Chris Leclerc, Alberta, Canada
This was quite possibly the most difficult quilt I’ve ever pieced! I love bargello quilts!! You make the tubes of strip sets and cut them on the bias so all the pieces are super stretchy! But I’m very happy with the finished product!

Northern Lights Free Form Bargello By: Pamela Boatright, Oregon, USA
I made this using 10 fat quarters from the Glacier Lights line of fabric. I know I wanted to make a Bargello style quilt representing the Aurora Borealis. This is what I came up with – it’s not the traditional form of Bargello, but is definitely using the technique!

I’m having problems voting – both directly through your website and through Facebook. Is it possible that you require one brand of internet browser to be used? I don’t use Explorer, but have several others.
My vote is for “Traveling”.
I sent you an email Jo, hopefully you received it.
These are all beautiful-but the Bargello Baby Bunny Blankie is definitely my favorite!
I love the colors and the design of Bargello Baby Bunny
Blankie …perfect for new baby.
My fav! The Bargello Baby Bunny Blankie Quilt!
I’ve got my text size at medium & still have no view of any quilts below Winter Wonderland. No wonder the last several have no votes!
Hi Kathy,
Winter Wonderland *is* the last quilt to view, so you’re seeing all of them. The voting results are sorted by most votes, once you’ve placed your vote. Prior to voting, they are sorted alphabetically, in the same order as the quilts shown above the poll.
Cheers,
Michele
