Hmm, well, where to start?

My name is Jennifer Rogers Ofenstein. I’m a native Texan and have been crafting my whole life. I have a B.A. in English with an Art minor from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. I live in Austin, Texas with my soulmate and husband of almost 15 years, Eli, and our two kids, Elena and Gareth. I’m a stay at home mom, a volunteer, a crafter and an avid paper pieced pattern designer.

Anina over at Twiddle Tails has a fabulous Freezer Paper Foundation Piecing Tutorial. It includes tonnes of photos and the instructions are very well done.

Carol Doak, the Queen of paper piecing in my mind, has some wonderful free patterns on her web site. The pattern in the photo is called May Flower.

The Star Sampler, originally a Block of the Month, has 12 star patterns measuring 6 x 6 inches. The patterns are pieced and/or paper pieced. You can use scraps, also for the backgrounds. The finished quilt measures 36″ x 43″.

From De Quiltkat here is their 2007 BOM project, Vintage Quilt. The Vintage Quilt has 12 foundation-pieced block patterns measuring 6 inches square. The finished quilt measures 36″ x 45″.
