Beneath Tropical Seas By: Louise Rynkewicz, Illinois, USA
This quilt won “Best Original Design” in the challenge at our local guild show. The theme was “Outside my Window”. Since I will never scuba dive, the only way I will ever see such scenes of coral reef life is through a window, so I decided to design the quilt to look like port holes in a ship.

Church Window By: Gun Adrian, Sweden
It started out as a stack and slash quilt (not sure that is the name of the pattern), but I wasn´t satisfied with it. I added the black fabric and now it looks like a church window, I think. It is machinequilted and it´s the first time I´ve done that.

Dresden Flower By: April, Florida, USA
This little flower hangs in my kitchen. I love the clean crisp contrast of Navy Blue and White. Navy and White colors remind me of old country settings of a simple and sweet life. I guess that’s why my kitchen is themed with these two contrasting colors.

Fluffy Flowers – Autumn By: Lindy, Washington, USA
When I saw this technique to make thread flowers, I made a couple, then couldn’t stop! The ‘crayon colors’ thread flowers I have made are over-the-top HAPPY, and customers love them…but my DH saw this earthy one and said, “Not for sale!” His highest praise! There is a tutorial on my blog.
