Hi ; I tweeted about this !! yay !!
I sure hope I tweeted it right. https://twitter.com/MsJennieBobbins/status/208299674791198720
I think I’ll go with the on point layout. I hope several of my quilter bee friends work on the quilt along as well.
Hi Michele! I tweeted and I put it on my blog facebook page – more people on there actually quilt than my facebook friends 🙂 I hope that is ok.
I shared this on Facebook!
I’m in! I’ve been quilting for about a year but i’m still a basic beginner. This is perfect!
facebook post, hope I got it right…lol
Hi, so excited for this quilt-along. I posted about it on my blog.
Hi Michelle, will tweet about this tonight. I’m excited to be joining the quilt along. It looks like a lot of fun. As a newbie I will have loads of questions I’m sure. 🙂
I would love to join in. Do I have to do one of the quilts above to join in in? I am a N-E-W quilter but I have a quilt pattern I would like to try.
Looks like a fun quilt along. I tweeted (I think lol)
Looks fun and I left a link on my blog
Hey, I tweeted, AND blogged it, adding a button and everything.
Go here:http://wannacraft-beth.blogspot.com/
I friend requested Michelle on fb, i don’t tweet….and I do believe that I’ll be using bright summery colors, just not sure which ones yet….this will be fun!

I like the on point and the fabrics in the newsletter – I’m going to try and join in
My husband just had 2 heart attacks, then a double by pass done and then ended up having diabetes so I’ve decided that I will e-mail this quilt along to all my friends in my support qroup who have been so kind to us in the last 3 weeks. Calgary is a 3 away from home, while I stayed, again they will get there with my husband I met lots of other wives who also were quilters and they will get an e-mail too. Thanks Pat -I always look forward to your newsletter.
I am very happy to be able to do this Quilt a Long. I have so much to learn.

Hi, I shared in several ways on my Facebook page. Will definitely do the quilt along. Thanks!
Too bad this is limited to those who tweet, blog, or have Facebook or Twitter accounts. There are other ways of spreading the word, like forwarding it to your friends or mentioning it in one’s on line quilting groups.
I shared this on Facebook! Happy Quilting!
Sounds like fun I will share this on facebook.
I blogged about the QAL and put the button on my sidebar. http://salliessampler.blogspot.com/2012/05/quilting-gallerys-beginners-qal-begins.html
Don’t blog, tweet, or flick BUT I did share on FB page… tried to tag you but it would not take it…
I shared on Facebook.
I shared on fb with my friends & with my quilting group.

Thank you for having a Beginner Quilt Along, I need all the help I can get.
I let all of my guild members know about this quilt-along by posting the link on their facebook page today! 🙂 I also posted it on the HGTV Quilter’s facebook page too. Someone is gonna get lucky and win a very nice iron!! I hope it’s me, b/c my husband would die laughing at me if I told him I wanted a new iron – since I rarely iron anything that we wear! lol I do use my iron for quilting and the one I have is about 10 years old.
Thanks again & Love from Indiana! ~bonnie
I shared this on my facebook page. This will be a great opportunity beginning quilter’s! I think I will join in myself!
I have shared this on my facebook page and tagged you Michele, I have also add this to my blog and now trying to figure out why my flicker and twitter accounts arent’ working right. As soon as I get those figured out I will be posting this great opportunity to those also. I know a few new quilters that this would be great for them. Thanks so much. http://ucanquilt2.blogspot.com/

Can’t wait to get started and hoping for a new iron :}
I shared it with my friends on facebook (using the little logo and hyperlink). I just requested your “Friendship” so it might not show up on your wall yet!

How often will the new blocks be posted and/or how long do we have to complete each new one? (Hopefully I didn’t miss that in the two pages I’ve read so far about this quilt along)
Can’t wait to start sewing! I picked out my Asian fabrics from my stash this morning and posted the link on my facebook page! I’ll request your friendship right now, Miche!
I posted the Quilt Along at my blog http://hooknneedlecreations.blogspot.com/2012/06/beginners-quilt-along.html
I am so happy to have found this giveaway. My iron broke a while back and I really need a new one. I also want to start quilting. I have mainly done dressmaking. Thank you for the giveaway!
I posted a link on Facebook, but I can’t figure out how to tag Michele on it. I sent her a friend request, because I thought perhaps I couldn’t tag someone who isn’t on my friend list? Anyway, I’d love to win the iron, and I think the summer quilt-a-long sounds like a fun idea!
This is just what I’ve been looking for! I have posted on my blog about the quilt along and the giveaway!

I could really use that iron, please put me in the drawing!
I have created a post http://richardquilts.blogspot.com/2012/06/beginners-quilt-along-random-junk.html and I have also added the link to my side banner. I am new to quilting only 5-6 months but I work fast and have made 40+ quilts. The trick for me will be to slow down enough to not go crazy. At the same time I hope that I will learn some new tricks to make things easier for me.
I tweeted! @Jennyroo1
I’ve added the logo to my blog. Now to look through my stash!
tweeted about the quilt along!

I posted a button on my sidebar and on my post. http://quilterinthecloset.blogspot.com/2012/06/beginners-quilt-along-trial-and-error.html
Still need to choose my fabrics, but I am ready to go. Well, except that I need a new iron! LOL!
I posted the fat quarters I will be using in this quilt along to my flickr account. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jrian/7343719080/in/photostream
I am looking forward to this!
I love your choice of fabrics. It’s something I need to learn how to do. Can’t wait to see what others are posting for their quilt.
I shared the project link on Facebook. Thanks for the opportunity.
I shared on Facebook, but couldn’t tag you, so I included a link to your page. I hope that works. Thank you!
I used the 200pxl logo and posted the link on my Facebook page. I’ll tag you in the post when the friend request I sent to you is accepted.
I desperately need a new iron. My youngest daughter used my “spare” iron to dry paper that had been dipped in wet coffee grounds for a project. Burned coffee stuck to the plate of my iron. I do believe I’ll have to scrap it.
OK, OK…I’m in!
I put this in my blog. Would love to win. Thank thehttp://kizzy49.blogspot.com/
Would love to win the iron, looking forward to beginning the blocks.
I have mentioned the Beginners Quilt Along on Flickr, I am ‘ColourinStitch’

Thanks for the opportunity to win a free iron. I am looking forward to the quilt along!!!! Now to decide what fabric I want to use….
What a fun plan for Beginners! I shared about this on my blog and posted on Facebook but have no clue how to “tag” you Michelle 🙁 Can anyone tell me how?
I guess I need to get up to speed with my tech skills because I do not have a twitter or flicker acct either! Anyway, at least I can quilt!!! And, I’m ready to learn more technology! I’ll be watching for the kind online quilter’s help in learning more.
Here’s wishing for a new iron 🙂
I am excited about this quilt along cause it,s easy. I’m going to try it. It’ll be a great project to teach my 12 year daughter quilting

Thank you and Reliable Corporation for an awesome giveaway and a chance to win a super iron.

Hi I shared this on Facebook. Thanks for the give opportunity to win this fab. iron.
Hi,
I shared on Facebook, but wasn’t able to add you to the FB link. Thank you for starting the beginner’s quilt-along
I have a charm pack of Salt Air. Would that work for the colored/prints parts of each block? Would one charm pack be enough? Thanks!
Yes, you could use 5″ charm packs if you wanted to for the first 12 blocks. Charms won’t work for Block 13. I’d suggest having a consistent background fabric with them otherwise the designs created by the blocks will be lost. You’ll need 2 charm packs of 40 charms, plus 1 yard of background.
Michele
I believe I retweeted the post, and I was going to share on Facebook, I tried to tag you – hope it worked!! Thanks so much for doing this — My iron died yesterday!!
I added the logo and link! This is the first time I’ve been able to do that. The instruction link you gave was very helpful. I’m swamped with trying to finish up some family quilts but am hopeful to do the Quilt Along. Haven’t pulled any fabric yet but am thinking of doing it in Christmas fabric and will have one Christmas gift finished early!
I have shared on Facebook. I am going to use my “doggie” blocks in it. Have been wondering how to use themThanks
I shared on Facebook, but couldn’t tag you. I did request you to be a friend. It would be so cool to win this iron, as mine has suddenly begun to leak. 🙁
I put it on the side bar of my blog and it links back to your page. This is a great idea doing a beginner quilt along. I have so many projects going, I won’t have time to participate but look forward to seeing the project as it moves along.
I tweeted and forgot to leave a comment ):
I blogged about the quilt along on my blog and put the button on the side bar. I haven’t participated, yet, but plan to do so. It wouldn’t take much for me to catch up.
I’ve just found this site while I have been on holidays. it is July 6 today, so I have a ways to go to catch up…..of to the fabric shop tomorrow though !! VERY EXCITED. This is my first quilt !!
