Please join me in welcoming our guest blogger, Jacquelynne Steves. She’s here to share with us her upcoming BOM and she’s sponsoring a fabulous give-away too.
Thanks to Michele for having me here on her blog today! She always has great information and projects for quilters – her web site is such a great resource!
I’d like to share a really fun and free event with you. Have you heard about the Sew Sweet Simplicity Block of the Month?
This FREE Block of the Month will run 5 months – not too long, not too short – just right! Why is it called Sew Sweet Simplicity? Because the blocks look way more complicated than they are!
When I designed this project, I wanted to provide you with lots of options. So, you can do a 4 block quilt, or, if you have a little more time you can make a 6 block quilt.
And, you will have 3 different options for making your blocks:
- you can just piece them
- OR you can applique them (hand or machine – I did machine applique)
- OR you can do simple hand embroidery (just 2 super easy stitches – the backstitch and French knots – plus I have a YouTube tutorial for those stitches)
There will also be a blog hop each month, so you can see how different bloggers made their quilt – different fabrics, perhaps different settings and borders… So be prepared to be inspired. Oh, and of course, you can’t have a blog hop without fun prizes and giveaways!!!
Doesn’t this sound fun? If you’d like to sew along with us, just click here to sign up. You will have the patterns delivered to your inbox each month. The first block will be sent out on October 27.
To make things even more fun, I am sponsoring a giveaway here on Michele’s blog. Three lucky winners will receive a bundle of give PDF patterns (retail value $40).
I hope you will join us for this fun event! And thanks again to Michele for having me here as her guest today!
Give-Away
To enter the give-away, leave a comment below answering “What Christmas quilting are you making this year?” Three winners will be selected to receive Jacquelynne’s PDF pattern bundle shown above. One entry per person. Winners will be chosen randomly and notified via email next Wednesday, October 15th.
Winners
Congratulations to the three winners. You’ve each been sent an email from me and you’ll receive your PDF patterns from Jacquelynne shortly. Thanks everyone for participating.
