DS QAL: Lesson 8 – Block 11

For this week’s Delightful Stars Quilt-Along (DS QAL) lesson we are making Block #11, one of our smaller and easier blocks to complete. It’s our first block with quarter-square triangles too. Here is my version:

Next week’s block should be our first paper pieced block; however, I have a rush quilt to quilt and bind this week, so I may push the paper piecing another week as I have another pieced block ready to go.

This is the quilt I’m working on, Summer Fun, that I pieced the top a couple of years ago. The fabric is Califon by Mark Lipinski and the design is a disappearing 9-patch. I’ll share the quilted photos once it’s been delivered.
