A Sampler of Guitars By: Debbie Lange Quilting,
Indiana, USA
For my nephew,Dominick. I designed the quilt on graph paper leaving the body of the guitars open to incorporate traditional quilt blocks with a 6, 8 or 9 grid. The necks were flying geese or 4 patches. After completing with a white background it was too bright so I stained /sponged with a tea wash.

Lucky quilt By: Daisy,
Germany
Being a faithful follower of my blog, my niece Sarah always whispers to her mum which of the shown fabric she likes best. For this quilt I took all her favourite designs and created a “lucky quilt” as a present for her to her first communion. The technique is a kind of quilt-as-you-go-lasagna. ;)

Have I started my Christmas presents? Oh yes, I started in January. I made a bunch of mug rugs for most of the family as well as car organizers (hang on the back of the front seats) for my kids.
I started my Christmas quilting in January and I just finished my first large quilt with machine binding last week. Found an awesome tutorial for binding that looks like you added piping, but it’s made with the binding cut in two strips. I will be surely doing more like this.
Trying to get Xmas gift quilts finished before they qualify as antiques.
No, I have not started any Christmas quilting. Although I should be making Christmas gifts year-round!
I’ve been working on one quilt for MONTHS I hope it will get to be a Christmas present this year :) Actually if I’m lucky I will enter it in next weeks geese challenge
Hum I do need to start my Christmas quilting I sadly started late last year and have a pile to finish for this year.
