At the end of April, my Mom and I attended the CreativFestival in Toronto. We had a great time, even if it wasn’t Paducah. I was a little disappointed not to see any “new things” being demonstrated.
Didn’t stop me from buying up lots of fat quarters. The first batch to add to my Civil War stash and the second batch, just because I liked them.
There’s a quilt show in Ottawa this weekend, Threads that Bind Through the Time, at the RA Centre. I had a great time at this show last year and am really looking forward to going on Saturday, with my friend Lisa. I’m forbidden from buying any more fabric, however, I need some fancy threads for upcoming projects and will be picking those up for sure, and who knows what else.
Update on Pay it Foward: I still need one more victim lucky winner for my Pay It Forward. Elsie and Beth are playing too… how about you?
OOh – that festival in Toronto sounds decadent – so many different craft, so little time!!! I will have to try to mark that for my calendar next year- I think it would be worth the drive across the border!
Hi Regina,
The Fall festival is often the better of the two. Twice as big, so many more vendors. The Spring often competes with Paducah on the same weekend, so many of the US vendors don’t come. The Fall is in downtown Toronto, which is more accessible by public transit than the Spring one out near the airport.

I’ll play Pay It Forward if you still need a (victim) player!
P.S. I love that second row of fabric. Beautiful colors!
