Four fat quarters will yield approximately six blocks, three positve and three negative versions of the Lavender Orchids Block Pattern. Speed piecing is used for the quarter square triangles. The large, open area in the center of the block is a great way to use focal prints!

Here’s a very cute Zippered Coin Purse. The tutorial is very well done. What a great way to use up left-over fabrics, and make gifts for family members and friends.

I found these two tutorials for shoulder bags, and just had to share them. These would make great grocery shopping or errand running bags.
