Block of the Month Baskets

Citrus Belt Quilters of Redlands, California has a free Block of the Month on their web site. Baskets are the theme for 2007-2008. Along with the individual block, instructions are given for a whole quilt using the one block or you may make a different block each month and have a sampler quilt.

Star Sampler

The Star Sampler, originally a Block of the Month, has 12 star patterns measuring 6 x 6 inches. The patterns are pieced and/or paper pieced. You can use scraps, also for the backgrounds. The finished quilt measures 36″ x 43″.
