A Quilter's Garden A Quilter’s Garden
By: Kim’s Crafty Apple, Wisconsin, USA

Four ‘tools’ were my inspiration:
Rotary Cutter (flowers)
Needle (stems of the flowers)
Scissors (leaves)
Stick Pins (rays coming from flowers). Using the shapes of these tools for the design elements I created a sweet little ‘Quilter’s Garden’ Wall Quilt.

I’m so happy with how it turned out

My First Baltimore Album My First Baltimore Album
By: FarahLin, Malaysia

I’ve used the needle-turn applique method for the flowers and stitched them using silk thread. I love the thread simply because it sort of ‘melts’ in the fabric thus making the stitches almost invisible and gives a neat finish. Sashings were machine pieced and this quilt took 8 months to complete.
