Jinny Beyer’s 2010 BOM, ‘Jinny’s Garden’ paper pieced flowers. I changed some of the colorings of the flowers prompting me to rearrange their placement too. Used a different background (although black too), border prints, setting triangles and sashing fabric. I enjoyed the variety of this quilt.

This was a challenge quilt that required using 30’s / Aunt Grace-type fabrics. I wanted to try paper piecing, and had picked up this pattern (Peekaboo Cats by Love Quilt Patterns) at a quilt show. After making a practice block, I got the hang of paper piecing and finished the quilt in two weeks.

    With all due respect and much affection, amid incredulity and a huge amount of amazement, I still think paper piecing is NUTS! You PPers are paragons of patience!!! Thanks for sharing!
