Bento Box By: Jen, Massachusetts, USA
I had always wanted to make a Bento Box quilt and fell in love with the lime green batik. After making a block with the navy I decided to just use the two colors. I love the visual effect it has with the different designs with just using two colors.

My Chinese dream By: Turid Bakken, Norway
My son loves red and black, and also Chinese texts on his things. So when I made a quilt for him, it had to be a mix of all these things. Need I say that he just loves this quilt? Can you see that it’s made from small and big triangles?

Persian Gates By: Cat, Michigan, USA
I took a miniature quilt class with Jo Miller in 1997. I learned a lot from her but the most important thing I learned was that I never wanted to make a quilt again with 1/8″ seam allowances…lol All the pieces for this quilt were rotary cut and machine pieced. It was also machine quilted by me.

Hmmmm, this is sort of two colors–greens and brown, but oops, there’s dots of red in the traditional log cabin centers. This is for my nature-loving son. It’s on it’s way to the long-arm quilter, soon to return to warm up his life.
