This quilt is made from the Moda line called Let It Snow. I foundation pieced it using a freezer paper method. It started as an EQ6 project, and I couldn’t decide which colorway to choose. A local quilt shop had these beautiful batiks, and when they asked me to write a pattern, my decision was made.

This little quilt was inspired by years of dressing little ones to go out in the snow. Here’s the poem that is on the back of the quilt: FINALLY HE’S DRESSED TO GO OUT AND PLAY; HE RUNS OUT INTO THE SNOWY DAY; BEFORE I POUR MY COFFEE HE COMES IN TO SAY; “I’D LIKE TO STAY IN FOR A MINUTE, OKAY”?
