4 Snowmen table topper By: Jean Shores, Nebraska, USA
Four snowmen are better than one! Tabletopper made from a kit from a local quilt shop. It’s one of my favorite little table toppers and so appropriate with all the snow we’ve had in Nebraska!

Eddie’s Snowmen By: Sharon Vrooman, New York, USA
My 2 yr. old grandson just loves snowmen, but only wants to build the heads. So I made him a mini wallhanging of his snowmen. It is paper pieced, bead eyes, cross stitch mouths and tied. Now he will have his snowmen even after the snow is gone.

Frosty By: A. Carole Grant, British Columbia, Canada
Just a fun little piece I made for my grandson. A jaunty fat little man. I used real, raw lambs wool for him.

In the Meadow (Jennifer Dougherty) By: Jennifer Dougherty, Kansas, USA
The picture never quite gives a quilt it’s justice. The boot laces are real and you can loop the boot buttons. All the fabrics are flannel. This was so much fun to make with all the details and colors. I hope you enjoy my quilt.

Looking at Snowflake By: OrkaLoca, Italy
If a man has a cat, what a snowman has got? A snowcat named Snowflake! And what if the snowman feels cold? Let’s give him a wool scarf!
The idea for the subject came to me in a silly dream. The pattern is original.
Techniques: fused applique and machine quilting

Pink Snowman By: Mrs Moen, Norway
Pink Snowman is from a series of Christmas quilts I made in 2009. My daughter loves pink, so I made a pink version for her. Although the colours are a bit untraditional for Christmas, this can be on display all through the winter. The happy snowman is from one of my patterns.

Snowman Collector By: Teaquilts, Missouri, USA
I made the applique version of Stitch Connection’s Snowman Collector quilt and fell in love with the redwork version. I made this quilt for a two-color quilt challenge and it won 1st place. I modified the design a little and added crystals and buttons as embellishments.

Snowmen for Florida By: Beth Werrell, Maryland, USA
Made this quilt for my inlaws for Christmas. I saw the block in Fons & Porters Love of Quilting last year and re-drafted it for foundation piecing. I decided to use a vertical setting so the quilt could be displayed on a door. I thought alternating the direction of the snowmen made it fun!

Winter Quilt By: Sharon, Missouri, USA
I made this quilt about 15 years ago. It is from the book, Snowbound by Gerry Kimmel, my friend Linda Brannock, and Jan Patek. I always get it out at Christmas and it stays out until the end of February. This was one of my first attempts at applique, and it is hand quilted by me.
