There are days/weeks when time just seems to move way too quickly. I’ve been working on preparations for attending Spring Market next month and a new version of this web site, which I think you’re going to *love*. It’s cleaner, easier to navigate and COLOURFUL! I had hoped to get it ready for this weekend, but that didn’t happen, so look for it some time next week.

I’m trying to decide today if I want to work on the new site or spend some time sewing. The sewing machine is looking rather lonely all on it’s own over there, so I think it might need some company.

When I travel to Market, I’ll be staying with an old friend I haven’t seen in 17 years in Rochester, New York for a day or two. I’ve been wanting to go to the Lilac Festival for the past couple of years, but the timing never worked out. This year it’s perfect as I’ll be driving right by. It’ll be great to see my old friend and meet her two girls. I’m going to make them doll baskets, like I made for Lucy’s birthday.

I am thrilled to pieces that Judy Laquidara of Patchwork Times will be coming to work my booth with me at Market. She’s a fabulously talented quilter and I can’t wait to meet her for the first time. She’s been a great help and support as I struggle through all of the decisions that need to be made for Market. We are going to have a blast. There’s a possibility that another friend of mine that I met last year at the Nashville AQS may also be joining us. Will know more in the weeks to come.

Speaking of Judy, she made this fabulous quilt and donated it to another quilter friend to be raffled off for cystic fibrosis. You can read about the story behind the quilt on Judy’s site, and then head over to Perry’s site, where you can purchase raffle tickets online with PayPal. Once I finish this post, I’ll be heading over to purchase a few myself… two for $5.00.
