I forgot to post this yesterday, what I bought at the Kaffe Fassett lecture on Tuesday.

The lecture was very inspiring. It was great to see all that he has accomplished and how he got started. I’ve been trying to look at things we take for granted to find inspiration.

I’m planning to use the above fabrics and make myself a long table runner for the dresser in my bedroom. I’d like to mix those gorgeous colours with white or cream, so they really punch. I’m going to design something myself, I think … something geometric. Still thinking about it. Any suggestions?

Your fabrics are great. I can see them in the free block “Penny Rugs” in your free projects section. Yummy!

Love the colors! oh so many ideas. But kaleidoscope or stack-n-whack would be really nice. Pinwheels, or appliqued flowers. Any form of stars with a neutral background fabric. Ideas keep coming I need to get some of these for myself I think. LOL

The fabrbics are very nice. He certainly tends towards the brights, doesn’t he. Looking forward to seeing the runner.

I love Kaffe Fassett fabrics! Sometimes they really pop by taking a muted color out of the fabrics you are using, like a light blue, light coral or light green.

Have fun making it…can’t wait to see it!
