Burgoyne Surrounded Burgoyne Surrounded

Quilt size: width: 84" height: 92"

Chocolate Stars Chocolate Stars
By: Nancy M,

This brown and white fabric was not selling at the local quilt shop. I knew it would make a great Stack N Whack style quilt. The setting was inspired by the book “Circle of Nine.” I was very happy with the results.

Quilt size: width: 56" height: 56"

Christmas Lap Quilt Christmas Lap Quilt
By: Diane U.,

Two tone golds/browns decorate this Christmas lap quilt that was made for my niece in 2012. We exchanged e-mails through e-quilter.com to find just the right fabrics to match her decor. She loved it!

Colouring-book quilt Colouring-book quilt
By: Carla (Granny Maud’s Girl),

A 2009 copy of Quilts Japan inspired me to make this redwork quilt. I call it the colouring-book quilt as many of the designs come from colouring books. Others were from a great-grandmother’s embroidery pattern collection. I just wish I had a better photo of it!

Quilt size: width: 82" height: 82"

Petit bateux Petit bateux
By: Turid Bakken,

Rapid fire hunters square Rapid fire hunters square
By: vandy,
Ohio, USA

This quilt started out as a request from my stepmom. This past year her battle with breast cancer took a turn for the worst & I put the construction on fast forward to complete it & get it quilted before she passed. She got to enjoy it for the next 2 weeks which brought her joy in a very dark time.

Quilt size: width: 88" height: 100"

Re-purposed Wedding Dress Re-purposed Wedding Dress
By: Debbie Lange Quilting,
Indiana, USA

A bride asked me to re-purpose her wedding dress into a wallhanging. I used the gown satin fabric for the background and the train fabric with beading and sequins to form the cross. Circle was appliqued from the dress fabric also. I quilted freemotion roses because she carried roses for her bouquet.

By: Barbara Winkler,

Quilt size: width: 60" height: 72"

Quilt size: width: 88.5" height: 88.5"

I made this quilt using primarily Civil War reproduction fabrics in pinks and browns. It was quilted with freehand hearts and swirls by Nancy Basserman of Calgary. Much to my surprise and delight, it was displayed on the Wainwright Hotel at the Heritage Park Festival of Quilts in May 2013.

Windmills Windmills
By: Susan Harris,

I love two colour quilts. I chose this design as it gave me the opportunity for lots of hand quilting, which is my passion. This is a replica of an antique windmills quilt, machine pieced and hand quilted.
