Huge Give-Away: Deck-ade the Halls Quilt-Along

Fat Quarter Shop

The Fat Quarter Shop are celebrating 10 years in business with 10 blocks and 10 fabrics! Quilt along with them to make an unforgettable holiday quilt, Deck-ade the Halls.

They’ve asked me to help celebrate with them by giving away not only the Deck-ade the Halls Quilt Kit to complete the top, but also the backing set, to one of my lucky readers.

That’s a whopping 15 yards of fabric folks! See below on how to enter.

Their quilt-along downloads include a color card, instructions for the nine sections, and end with finishing instructions to complete the quilt. They are posting a new download every two weeks from May 13th through September 16th, so you will have plenty of time to have your quilt completed by December.

    Well I have to say I really love the Holiday Frost line. Through the years I’ve found I make a lot of holiday wall hangings for family and friends so they have come to expect them each year. The gray snowflakes and the swirls fabrics would be ideal for backgrounds.

    There were so many that I liked but I think the overall BEST one (in my opinion) was Holiday Frost by Jan Shade Beach for Henry Glass. This is a beautiful collection. Of course, your choice of Aspen Frost is also equally as nice for the Deck-ade the Halls quilt.

    Hmm… favourite Christmas fabric? That has to be: Season’s Greetings by Sentimental Studios for Moda Fabrics.
    It was hard to make a choice because I loved the Hoffman series as well but it has at bit too much gold.
    If I should be one of the really lucky ones I hope to make a big comfy Christmas quilt this year ๐Ÿ™‚

    I think the second one with the birds and cardinals would make a lovely holiday quilt for my living room. I really need to make one and the, have it available for my son and his wife someday…… when we no longer need it. I’m making couch and lap size quilts now….. that is the size my husband and I can use daily…… and changing for the seasons and holidays is adding fun to our days….. and so easily changes our environment. If I win… I’ll have. Enough fabric to make a few more to give away to housebound friends.

    I love the Holiday Frost range by Robert Glass – we don’t have Christmas in winter but the motifs on the fabric are definitely commonly seen in our summer Christmas celebrations!
