As You Witch By: Regina Arlauckas, New York, USA
This was a quilt of firsts – first attempt at kaleidoscope blocks, first free motion quilting, and first yo-yo’s. I wanted to play with fabric I had on hand – and that was Halloween witch fabric (used also in the borders). White sheet on back w/ black yo-yo spiders on webs formed from the FMQ.

Close the Windows at Halloween By: Linda Hicks, Texas, USA
The “Attic Window” block pattern reminded me of the open spaces/big skies of my recent reunion trip to Texas. Thinking the results too garish, I happily found an exotic transparent Halloween fabric. I placed it atop to float and ripple like ghosts coming in the windows…a memento mori!

Witchy Witch By: StitchinRN, Arizona, USA
