I have come to realize that I cannot stand when things are not organized. It makes me feel anxious and stifles my creativity. So, I’m getting organized … slowly.
Since I can’t enter our Show & Tell events, I thought I’d share my hexie puzzle quilt with you this weekend.
Lately, I’ve been working on my Diagonals Quilt. These blocks, while lots of fun, really are time-consuming. However, I can finally see the end of the tunnel.
For my favourite block, I chose the Quartered Star as I really like how this block can be scrappy and still maintain it’s design effectively. Plus for the 12″ finished block, it’s great for using up charms to create the half-square triangles. Let’s get started with the tutorial…. it’s an easy one.
