I’m playing catch up here for the last two lessons of our Delightful Stars Quilt-Along (DS QAL).
Last week was Lesson 13 and we pieced Block 9. This is one of my favourite star blocks. It would be an excellent choice for a scrappy quilt. Here’s my version:
We also joined blocks 9 and 2 together with a sashing strip. Here are mine:
For this week’s Lesson 14, we are making one of the easier blocks, #22. Here’s my version:
Next week’s block is a paper pieced and regular pieced block. Then we have a break week to end of the month of May.

Friendship Star Blocks
Here are the latest Friendship Star Blocks to arrive. I have received 37 to date. Thank you everyone, they are all so beautiful.
I also received a most wonderful package from Australia. Quilting friend Alex Gee, who was terrified of paper piecing, until I taught her how to do it in my tutorial … made me these awesome letters to go on the back of my delightful stars quilt. I am so proud of her for overcoming her “I hate paper piecing” fears and so thrilled to have these beautiful blocks for my quilt.
Eu queria todos os blocos free de voces, como fazer.Toda terça eu receberia um imail, mas não recebi teerça dia 20.Grata Me ingormem.
