Welcome everyone to our second star block lesson for the Delightful Stars Quilt-Along (DS QAL).
Over the past week, I’ve been working on the construction drawings for each block. This task has resulted in a few minor changes to the original quilt design. Here’s the final version:
This week’s lesson is Block #24:
The construction tips for last week’s Block 18 apply to this week’s block too. One additional tip is to fold the nine-patch block in half in both directions and finger press or mark in the seam allowance the centre of the block at all four edges. Use this centre mark to align the point of the flying geese units when attaching them to the nine-patch.
