All Tied up All Tied up
By: Debbe, Indiana, USA

I fell in love with the Terrain line of fabric from Kate Spain and Moda when it came out last year. I loved it so much I bought a charm pack with no specific project in mind. Then I saw an ‘hour glass’ quilt that someone had made and that is where inspiration for my quilt came from.

Bits and Pieces Bits and Pieces
By: DawnasFolkArt, Washington, USA

This quilt was made with assorted quilt blocks and units arranged in a collage style. I worked everything out on graph paper and broke the design into sections … a design wall helped too! I was inspired by Thimbleberries “Lazy Crazy” quilt and panels. Extra blocks were made into throw pillows.

This was a pattern from Moda Bake Shop, I used a small charm pack from another brand that I had laying around and some white fabric that I’ve had for quite awhile.

This reminds me of spring and the cheerful colors that spring weather and warm sunny days bring, that I’m hoping come our way soon.

By: KimsCraftyApple, Wisconsin, USA

Inspired by a trip to the hardware store just before spring started – this quilt was made using a plus sign background (Phillip’s screw drivers), saw blade flowers, washer ring flowers, golden hook sun and more! It was really fun to create and I loved being inspired by the unexpected.

This is a gorgeous applique embroidery piece found in the book by Eileen Roche …. ‘machine applique embroidery’. I had a great time making it and am getting great review for the colors I chose. All fabric came from my stash, which was my goal. I love my embroidery machine, in case you didn’t know

Mother's Day Tulips Mother’s Day Tulips
By: Heather Marie Weaver, Oklahoma, USA

My teenage daughter decided to make me this paper pieced tulip wall hanging for Mother’s Day. It took her a long time to finish the tulip block. I had to coax her with me finishing the sashing, backing, quilting and binding. Years later it’s finished and adorable.

Ontology Of A Rabbit Ontology Of A Rabbit
By: Kit Lang, Ontario, Canada

Wow – the story behind this one is long, but the short version is that current events in the US had me thinking about perception vs. reality and how your particular viewpoint shapes how you see your world.

This little flying bunny may have the correct view, after all!

Picket Fences Picket Fences
By: WaggonsWest, Missouri, USA

This quilt is a celebration of new beginnings. The new growth that occurs every Spring. In this quilt you are seeing the new flowers behind the pickets of fence. See the crooked on in the corner? That is where the dog escapes… it was meant to be there!

My daughter’s friend Dee wanted a quilt for her birthday. Dee is 1/2 Japanese & my daughter said she would like something with a Japanese theme. I made a quilt like this one here for her & hung it on my wall until my daughter was ready to give it to her. I liked it so much I made myself one too.

Sherbet Hearts Sherbet Hearts
By: Jennifer Schifano Eutsler, North Carolina, USA

The Sherbet Hearts quilt was made slowly, over a period of ten years. It is completely hand-quilted. The Sherbet colors remind me of an old-fashioned spring, on main street, in an old-fashioned town. This quilt is made from my original design. It hangs on the back of my fireside rocking chair.

Snugglebug Snugglebug

I made this quilt based on a Ruth Jensen pattern for my second daughter. The ladybug and dragonfly blocks are paper pieced with dimensional wings. Even after two years of cuddling and several washings, the quilt has held up remarkably well!

Spring Spring
By: Ellen Remijnse, Belgium

I made this mini quilt from fabrics from my stash. I love the bright colors, especially for this time of year. Although it’s only a small quilt, it decorates my house perfectly for the Spring season. The left ear of the bunny is left loose, for a nice effect.

Spring Swoon Spring Swoon
By: Lizzy Taylor, United Kingdom

I am making seasonal wall hangings that I can change throughout the year for the lobby at work. This is my Spring/Easter themed piece. The block is from the popular Swoon pattern and was my test block for it. I miscut the pale blue background (oops!), so substituted the darker blue fabric instead.
