  • Sloppy Stars

Here’s a beautiful looking quilt, with very detailed instructions, Sloppy Stars. I love how the stars jump out at you. A great colour combination. This would look fabulous with a black background and bright multi-coloured stars, or even as a scrappy quilt. Oh the combinations!!

  • Here’s a cute Kitty Quillow project from McCall’s Quick Quilts.

  • Imagine the creativity and fun that can be had with this free pattern, Kitties with 3-D Tails. I have lots of ribbons and cording that would make great Kitty Tails.

  • Crumb Chaos

I adore making scrappy quilts and finding ways to use the leftover fabric pieces into other projects. That’s why this technique, Crumb Chaos, is so appealing. I’ve been saving up strips and pieces for a couple months now that I’ll use just for this. Some finished pieces can be viewed here, here, and here. Photo…

  • Star Bursts

I took this photo at the Upper Canada Village 2007 Quilt Show.

  • I started this quilt several years ago, but wasn’t happy with the results, so I put it away, out of sight. In the meantime, I purchased a new sewing machine, Janome, to replace my Singer that would eat my fabric, and make nothing but a mess. I dug this project out last summer and after…
