54-40 or Fight
Here’s a stunning 54-40 or Fight free pattern from McCall’s Quick Quilts. I love the setting on this quilt… very striking. I just might have to try it myself one day.

Here’s a very cute Zippered Coin Purse. The tutorial is very well done. What a great way to use up left-over fabrics, and make gifts for family members and friends.

I found these two tutorials for shoulder bags, and just had to share them. These would make great grocery shopping or errand running bags. Hobo Bag (left) Reversible Shoulder Bag

Here’s a great stash-busting pattern, Wickedly Easy Quilts by Annie. It uses fat quarters, strip cutting and quick piecing. Sizes include crib, lap, twin and queen. Definitely adding this pattern to my To Do list… I love patterns that use fat quarters and are quick to do.

From Quiltmaker, 24 free foundation pieced patterns. Each pattern given creates an 8-inch block, but you can re-size as needed. Excellent instructions, full-sized patterns, and samples if you decide to repeat one block. My favourite block is Hosannah, as it looks like tulips, which are one of my favourite flowers. What’s yours?

Here’s a fun lap quilt project from McCall’s Quick Quilts, Crazy Anne. I think if I stared at this long enough, I just might get dizzy. Would look stunning with a black background and bright coloured fabrics. It’s paper-pieced which I love for accuracy.
