Citrus Belt Quilters of Redlands, California has a free Block of the Month on their web site. Baskets are the theme for 2007-2008. Along with the individual block, instructions are given for a whole quilt using the one block or you may make a different block each month and have a sampler quilt.

Doing the Nine Patch – Dancing Shoes Not Required

From TLC Stitches, here’s a great tutorial showing a unique way to create those wonderful Nine Patch blocks. I’m sure this will be faster than the traditional method and more accurate too. This might even inspire me to use Nine Patches in my Doll Quilt Swap.
