April 27th marks the start date for this Spring's Mystery Quilt by Email Benefiting Cancer Patients.

100% of the money raised by the Mystery Quilt goes to a cancer patient for medical bills.

The idea grew from wanting to help my mom when she needed to raise money for her stem cell transplant which took place this past December 2011. (At the time of this writing it was successful and she was "engrafted", which is a good thing!)

How does it work?

Once you purchase the pattern fabric requirements will be emailed to you and you will be added to the Mystery Quilt email list. At noon PST on April 27th the first clue will be emailed out with each subsequent clue being emailed each week for a total of 6 weeks.

* This pattern is appropriate for the advanced beginner.

There is a group on Facebook in which you will be welcome to join. Last year's group had a splendid time showing fabrics and how each clue was progressing for them.
