Swap Guidelines
For this swap, you will make one mini quilt to send to your secret partner. This is an open-ended swap and you are free to interpret the theme as you like.
Your finished mini quilt must be made with 100% cotton, quilted, and bound securely (no zig zag edges!). It should also contain a label on the back. Your mini quilt should be washable. Make something you would love to receive and I’m sure your partner will like it.
Your mini quilt should be no larger than 24" and no smaller than 15". It can be any shape within those size parameters. For example a mini quilt that is 18"x20" is fine, one that is 10"x15" is too small and one that is 26″x30″ is too large.
Registration for this swap closes February 1st. Partner information will be sent by February 5th. The deadline to mail your mini quilt is March 12th for international shipments (including Canada/USA) and March 19th for domestic shipments. All mini quilts should arrive at their destination no later than March 30th.

It’s a SECRET swap, so please don’t tell your partner who you are in advance (unless you want to), but go ahead and post pictures of your progress on your blog and in the Flickr group.
Gifts: You are not required to send any additional gifts to your swap partner. You may do so if you wish, but keep in mind the partner assigned to you may not send you any additional goodies. Also note, some countries do not allow certain food and plant materials to be imported.
Registration Fee
As those that have been doing swaps with me for a while know, in the past we’ve had numerous problems with people signing up for a swap and then not sending their project. Not only is this very disappointing for the quilter that doesn’t receive a swap project back, but it creates a HUGE amount of unnecessary work for me. As such, I will be charging a small registration fee to join the swap.
The registration fee for this swap is $2.50 USD or you can send me a fat quarter. The other swaps planned for this year include projects designed specifically for the swap by Sandi Andersen, Lenna Green and Jennifer Ofenstein. These swaps will have a registration fee of $5.00 USD, half of which will go to the designers.
Note: Quilters that have been a swap angel for me in the past or a swap designer are not required to pay the registration fee (ever).
Once you’ve completed the registration form you can then pay the registration fee through PayPal.

Important Note

You must review the information and reply to this email so that I know I am able to email you and that the information entered is accurate. You will receive a confirmation email once your registration has been accepted. If you do not receive your verification email, that means I was unable to email you. Please allow 24-48 hours (longer on weekends) for your registration to be reviewed and for you to appear on the participants’ list.
Please do not register more than once! Wait patiently for your registration to be reviewed and approved.
