Here are the fabrics I've decided on for the winter swap.  I'm making a star from one of Carol Doak's books, 50 fabulous paper-pieced stars.  I've cut all my fabrics and foundations.  I'll be making two at the same time.  Hopefully one of them can stay here and not have to be used as an angel swap.

Very non-traditional "winter" fabrics.  Reminds me of a gorgeous night sky, with a little creative interpretation.  :)

My winter stars are done (I made two, one for me!).

I need quilting ideas please.   Keeping in mind stitch in the ditch is EVIL .. and I don't have a lot of experience.  Suggestions please.  :)

Would an overall cross hatch work?

Wow Michele, it's awesome!! Those colours………!!! Those points……….!!!!!!!! I use cross hatch a lot, gives it a real "old" feel. I think it'll work beautifully with your star. But I think in the ditch will also bring out the star, mmmmmmmm, either way you will make a beautiful mini.
