Description
At Batiks by Design, we are one of the only stores and websites offering Indonesian traditional batik designs printed on 100% cotton fabric in a large variety of colors and patterns. Having lived in Indonesia for 2 years, I've learned that the Indonesians accept the screen printed batik design fabrics as batiks. The machine printing process gives the fabrics designs that are very intricate and colors that are clear and beautiful. These fabrics do not shrink, barely wrinkle, and don't bleed when they are washed. The cotton is excellent quality.
We also carry Bali batiks from Hoffman, Island Batiks, Timeless Treasures, and Batik Textiles. We love the way that they work together in a quilt - the traditional and the contemporary!
We sell kits and pattern, along with a few notions that we need for the patterns we sell. Please come and see us. We would LOVE to meet you!
