There are 9 picture blocks in it and most of the blocks have their own embellishments. The most embellished block is the Home block. I used Moda's Figgy Pudding, and designed a fun center for my table. The wonky stars were a sparkling edge. White in between to catch all the spills for easy clean up! It is machine pieced and quilted by myself and was made of the left over log cabin blocks of my bed quilt that has a different layout. Although I call this one Red Jr. its real name is Candy Cane. I was mostly machine appliqued (my favorite). This is the first full size quilt that I have made. I usually make throw size and baby quilts. I enjoyed every minute making this.
