Welcome to the latest issue of the Quilting Gallery Newsletter. You wouldn’t know it by reading the blog, but I did attend Spring Market last month in Minneapolis. I had a fabulous time! One of these days, I’ll even get the pictures posted. For now, here’s one with me, my good friend Sandie (recovering from a broken leg), Pat Sloan and Mark Lipinski.
Speaking of Pat Sloan, I’m going to be a guest on her Creative Talk Radio show Monday, July 12th. The show airs live at 4:00 pm (Eastern) or you can listen via Itunes after. My goal with Quilter’s Market is to offer a simple and inexpensive way for designers, authors, publishers and distributors to promote their quilting products directly to quilters from around the world. For just a few minutes of your time and a small fee, you can list your products in Quilter’s Market. The cost to list each product is just $6 (goes up to $8 at the end of June 2010). There are no additional membership fees and no renewal fees. You have full control over what information is presented in your ad, including a link back to your own site to purchase the product. Products are organized based on product type, technique and experience level. Books, patterns and notions & fabric are further categorized to make it super-easy for quilters to find the products they are looking for. Hurry, price goes up July 1, 2010. P.S. Quilter’s Market was originally called Quilter’s Library in last month’s newsletter. Based on the fabulous feedback received, this section of the site was expanded to include more product types and the name was changed too. Weekly Themed Quilt Contests
