Quilting Gallery Newsletter – 29 April 2011
|
Welcome to the latest issue of the Quilting Gallery Newsletter. It’s that dreaded time of year here, TAXES, so this will be a short and sweet note so I can get back to the paperwork, and hopefully even find some stitching time later this weekend. Growing Up!After what seems like months of work, but really just a long delay, I’m thrilled to present Version 3 of the Quilting Gallery site. Jump over to the site to see that everything has changed, in a big way! Don’t worry, all your favourite information is still there, it’s just better organized with a cleaner and more simple design. I hope you like it – let me know what you think. Quilt Guilds DirectoryFinally, I’m pleased to announce that the Quilt Guilds Directory is done. Currently there are 91 guilds listed from 8 countries. It is my hope that not only will the new Quilt Guilds Directory be a great resource for quilters to find like-minded friends, but that quilting teachers will also find it useful so that they can plan trips and classes as they travel to various events. Weekly Quilt ContestIt’s voting time! Grab a cup of coffee and check out this week’s gorgeous Quilts Made with Charms and vote for your favourite. Next week’s contest is Mothers – Submit your photo here. Guest BloggersI’ve been so busy lately, that I don’t have any guest bloggers lined up for May. Want to be a guest? Until next time, happy quilting! Michele (aka Mishka) |
