Welcome to the latest edition of the Quilting Gallery Newsletter filled with lots of quilty FUN! Beginner’s Quilt-AlongBlock 3 of our Beginner’s Quilt-Along is now available. Pat Sloan named this blocked Time for Ice Cream, aka Shoo Fly. It’s our first of several half square triangle blocks that we’ll be making. The theme for this week’s quilt contest is Embroidery/Stitchery. You can submit quilts, wall hangings, pillows, etc. as long as the item you enter is completely finished (i.e. bound and quilted). You have until 8:00 a.m. (EDT) on Friday to enter. Contest voting will start shortly after and last until next Monday at 8:00 a.m. (EDT).
