WANTED: Super Deal AdvertisersWith the Christmas quilting season fast approaching, the Super Deal advertising is an excellent opportunity for online quilt shops wanting to boost their sales. If you’re interested in being a Super Deal advertiser, please email me and I’ll send you the information package. Buttons, Buttons, Buttons – Daily Give-AwayIncomparable Buttons have generously donated 36 buttons cards to be awarded to quilt-along participants. Here’s how it works. You’ll have two weeks from when a quilt-along block has been published on the Quilting Gallery site to make the block then upload it to our Flickr group. The staff at Incomparable Buttons will be reviewing the photos and choosing one winner for each of our blocks. Weekly Themed Quilt ContestsThis week, we honour the oh-so-popular nine-patch in our Nine-Patch Galore quilt contest. You have until midnight tonight (EDT) to enter this week’s competition. Voting starts shortly after midnight and lasts until Sunday night. Barbara from Six Gables Designs is this week’s sponsor. If you’ve ever wanted to make a nine-patch block that finishes at a size not easily divisible by 3, you’ll love her Outside the Gridâ„¢ Wonder Rulers. Quilt Shop LocatorThe Quilt Shop Locator is a unique map-based directory of quilt shops, online quilting retailers and other quilting professionals throughout the world. Recently, quilts shops from Sweden, Washington, California, Ontario and the United Kingdom have been added. |
