With just two weekends left before Christmas, I sure wish I had time to complete this gorgeous Christmas Shopping Bag. The detailed instructions with photos are fantastic.

I would extend the handles several inches, as I prefer a bag that I can carry over my shoulder.

Serena from Embroidery Treasures has instructions on how to make a bag for baking perfect fluffy potatoes in the microwave. When I contact Serena about featuring her product, she asked to wait a couple of days while she created the embroidery design files that can be used on the bag. How sweet is that, thanks Serena!

Jan Patek has some lovely free patterns available on her site. I really liked this one called Gatherings.

It’s made with scraps of tans, yellows, reds, blues and greens. The finished block is 16″ and the quilt measures 70″ x 86″.
