Weekly Quilt Contest: All Sports and/or Olympics

Congratulations to CieAngel from Florida for winning last week’s weekly themed quilt contest, Valentine’s Day, with her fabulous All My Hearts quilt.
Thanks to Tracey for donating a set of her wonderful Country Cards.
This week’s theme is Winter Sports (Olympics). However, I think this theme might be too specific, so I’m expanding it to include All Sports and/or Olympics. Remember: your interpretation of the theme can be represented by the fabrics you chose and/or the quilt design/pattern.
To enter, read the rules and guidelines, then submit your quilt photo. Voting will start on Friday and last until Sunday night.
The prize for this week’s contest is a $30 gift certificate donated by Fabric.com. Aren’t these olympic-themed fabrics just gorgeous? I want them all. Of course, the winner can use the gift certificate to purchase whatever she/he wants.
Fabric.com is the place to go if you sew. They carry a huge selection of quilting fabrics by designers such as Laurel Burch, Amy Butler, Robert Kaufman, Timeless Treasures, Alexander Henry, Michael Miller, Marcus Brothers, Benartex, Northcott Fabrics, Makower and more. They carry a large selection of solids, flannel, extra-wide fabrics, muslin, fat quarters and kits. You’ll also find apparel and decorating fabrics, notions, patterns, sewing machines, accessories and supplies for knitters and crocheters.
