I have been enrolled in Craftsy classes since their very beginning. I love being able to watch the classes whenever, and how often, I want. My two most-watched classes are: Creative Quilting With Your Walking Foot and Big Techniques from Small Scraps. It is so wonderful to be able to take classes from international teachers, that I wouldn’t otherwise have an opportunity to learn from.
This class has been very popular and we’ve had some great discussions about this topic in my Facebook Group. If this is a technique that interests you, here’s another class that I have really enjoyed and found inspirational: Machine Quilting with Templates.
I often get questions on how to create a t-shirt memory quilt made from a loved one’s old t-shirts. I was happy to see this new-ish class: The Ultimate T-Shirt Quilt.
I love paper piecing, and have written my own Paper Piecing Tutorial for Beginners booklet; however, this class, Pain-Free Foundation Piecing with Cristy Fincher, has me very intrigued. I’ve watched/read other tutorials by Cristy and find her techniques worth trying.
Speaking of paper piecing, here’s an intermediate class, with the famous Peggy Martin, that I have really enjoyed: Quick-Strip Paper Piecing.
My final class recommendation is for those that have a little extra padding on their bodies, like me. The Plus-Size Pattern Fitting & Design class, with Barbara Deckert, is fantastic. I’ve learned so much from this class. If only I had time to work on making my own clothes. One day, one day!!
