Wanted: Modern Geometric Quilts for Show & Tell

Quilters' Show & Tell

WANTED: Your Modern Geometric Quilts (Solids) for this week’s Quilters’ Show & Tell. I’ll leave the interpretation of this theme up to you. Unfinished quilt tops are welcome as well. Please don’t submit a quilt you’ve already entered in the past… let’s see something different!

To enter: Submit your photo before Thursday, October 10th, 2013 at 9:00 p.m. (EDT). If you are new here, please also read the Guidelines for additional information.

Winners: Fall’s Glory Quilts

Thanks to everyone that entered and voted for last week’s Fall’s Glory Quilts event. Here are the winners.

Guest Judges

The two guest judges were Soma from Whims and Fancies and Benita from Victoriana Quilt Designs. They both had 100 bonus points to assign to up to four quilts.

Here’s how Soma awarded her points:

40 points – It Could Be Autumn – 40 + 208 = 248 points
30 points – Autumn Delight – 30 + 30 = 60 points
20 points – Fall Splender – 20 + 92 = 112 points
10 points – Tumbling Leaves Table Runner – 10 + 54 = 64 points

Here’s how Benita awarded her points:

75 points – Autumn Aspens – 75 + 106 = 181 points
25 points – Red Maple – 25 + 86 = 111 points


The winning quilt is It Could Be Autumn by Shirley Way which received 248 guest judge points and community votes.
