Welcome everyone to Lesson 15 of the Aiming for Accuracy Quilt-Along (A4AQAL).

For this week’s lesson, we’ll be putting together Section C of our quilt top. This is a HUGE lesson as there’s lots to do, so please just take each section one step at a time.

If you check the main QAL page, you’ll see that I’ve added two additional lessons for our quilt-along. Don’t worry, the finished date hasn’t changed. On Saturday, I’ll do another post on joining the three main sections together. I’ve also added a finishing up post for October 17th where I’ll share my favourite ideas and links to various videos and tutorials to finish up your quilt.

One day left to vote… Earlier this week, I asked for your opinion on how to award the grand prizes. Please cast your vote here before Friday at noon.

If you’re new here, check out the main QAL page where you’ll find all the information so that you can join us on this QAL adventure. The tutorials are FREE until the end of October. A comprehensive booklet will be available for sale containing all tutorials and lessons November 1st.

We have weekly prizes that everyone can enter. Each Sunday (or Monday), there will be a blog post available on this site, where you can upload your completed photo for that week’s lesson. Check the main QAL page for the link. You’ll have until the following Sunday evening to enter.

There’s still time to submit your Lesson 14 photo(s) to be eligible for the prizes for last week. Submit your photo(s) here.

Our Volunteer Prize Coordinator, Amy Gay of Butterfly Angels Quilting, will choose winners on Monday and will announce the winners on the prize blog post, in our Facebook Group and send emails. Please be sure to check your spam folder as Amy has been having difficulty reaching some of the winners from previous lessons.

Reminder: We are chatting up a storm in our Facebook Group, come join us, and you can also share photos in our Flickr Group too.
